ScrubHub is back, and while our roots began as a trusted local cleaning service, our time working closely with the elderly community across the Isle of Wight showed us something far more important than spotless homes — a real need for companionship. While cleaning the homes of older residents, we saw firsthand how many people were living alone and craving familiar voices, shared memories, and simple company. That experience inspired the next chapter of ScrubHub: a brand-new online television service created especially for the Isle of Wight, bringing classic films and programmes from the 1950s through to the 1980s straight into people’s homes. It’s more than television — it’s comfort, nostalgia, and a friendly presence, designed to help reduce loneliness and keep our island’s community connected.
